How to Trade

Trading on Ancient8Swap is much easier compared to most other exchanges. You won't be overwhelmed by charts or technical jargon, and the trading routes and calculations are all handled by the Ancient8Swap Smart Router for you.

Before you can trade, you'll need a wallet compatible with the Ancient8 Network.

Examples include MetaMask, OKX, and Trust Wallet.

Trading on the Ancient8Swap

1 - Go to the exchange page here.

2 - Unlock your wallet by clicking on Connect Wallet (you can also connect in the upper right corner). If you haven't connected your wallet to Ancient8Swap, make sure your wallet is installed and try reloading the website.

3 - Select the token you want to trade from the dropdown menu at the top. Regardless of which token you choose, make sure you have enough of that token in your wallet to trade.

4 - Choose the token you want to trade to in the lower section as above.

5 - Next, either type an amount in the upper section to input the number of tokens you want to swap (spending amount). Or, type an amount in the lower section to input the number of tokens you want to swap to (receiving amount).

Whichever section you input your amount, the amount in the other section will be estimated automatically.

6 - Check all the details, and click the Swap button.

7 - A window with more details will appear. Check the details are correct. When you are ready, click the Confirm Swap button. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.

8 - Done! You can check your transaction on blockchain explorer by clicking the link shown above.
